Our September 2019 regional snapshot deals with the wide world of workforce data. The Research & Analytics Group has been increasingly involved in gathering, processing, and analyzing workforce data for regional plans and grant-funded projects. In this snapshot, you will find summary findings from some of the data work done for the Worksource Regional Plan, Metro Atlanta Workforce Exchange (MAX), and National Workforce Fund Economic Mobility Grant (EMG) projects, as well as share plans for further future analysis.
The slide deck below offers a review of the national and Atlanta economic and labor force landscape, then an assessment of conditions in and prospects for growth in target occupation clusters and specific top jobs (as defined by area employers) within those clusters.
