To honor the region’s veterans on Veteran’s Day, we made a quick map (Figure 1 below) showing where our veterans live in the region. As you can see, the heaviest concentrations of veterans tend to be located on the periphery of the region, with very little presence in the urban core. That being said, the census tract with the highest percentage of veterans is actually in the city of Atlanta in the Grove Park/Bankhead area.
