This map shows average health care costs, by county, in the Atlanta metropolitan statistical area (MSA).  Average health care costs include both health insurance and medical care costs. Areas shaded in dark blue (including Cherokee, Cobb, Fayette, Forsyth, and Fulton counties) represent average higher health care costs, ranging from nearly $6,000 to just under $7,500 per household. Areas shaded in lighter green shades represent those with lower insurance costs.  Within the Atlanta MSA, Clayton County has the lowest average health care costs at just under $3800 per household.
