It’s that time of year again! SmokyMountains.com has released their 2020 Fall Foliage Prediction Map. This map is meant to help folks plan their outdoor fall activities to coincide with the most colorful trees. According to this map, we in the Atlanta region can expect to see the brightest leaves sometime between October 26 and November 2.

Below is a time-lapse of the fall foliage forecast for the continental United States from September 28 to November 23. Green indicates no change in foliage, while red represents the time when leaves are most vibrant. Areas shaded in brown are likely to be past their peak, with leaves beginning to fall from trees.
