With the 2017 school year coming to an end, we take a look back at last year’s Georgia Milestone scores for 3rd grade reading (English Language Arts).  This map shows the mean scale scores for 2016 3rd grade English Language Arts by elementary school for school districts in the five core Atlanta counties. The higher the mean scale scores, the better. The yellow represents the highest scores while blue represents the lowest. The lowest scores are primarily concentrated south of I-20, while high scores are concentrated in the north.
