This year, Atlanta will join the rest of the nation in celebrating our region’s mothers on Sunday May 14, 2017. Since 1914, the United States has celebrated mothers with cards, flowers, jewelry, special meals and outings, and other fun treats especially for Mom. For 2017, Mother’s Day spending is expected to reach $23.6 billion in the United States alone! This week’s edition of Friday Factday highlights one of our region’s greatest resources – our moms!
